Working as a wedding planner for over a decade, I knew the one thing I would not compromise on was great photography and videography when it came to our wedding. I spent a long time hunting and reaching out to different providers but something felt different when I stumbled across Roam Ahead. I remember running to tell Aaron “I think we found our people” and it hasn’t stopped feeling like that ever since. We fell in love with Jen and Andy’s authenticity, approachability and their art - their work is the perfect mix of creative, fun and beautifully emotional. Jen has been an absolute dream to work with and cannot think of a better way to describe her service other than incredibly generous. She made us feel like I we were at the centre of their universe as we started planning our day. Andy is a humble genius who is incredibly skilled and often found dual wielding high def cams and drones alongside old school cameras capturing super8 and 35mm film. Jen and Andy are both incredibly skilled at what they do and as the day went on they started to feel more like friends. Their clear instruction and calm nature truly brought out the most happy and relaxed versions of ourselves - and this showed, to our guest and in our final photos and videos. The final products were like nothing we had ever seen. They have a way of capturing special moments that felt like they were only saved in our hearts. We honestly didn’t realise we would end up with so much and we’ve now had many family nights laughing, crying and struggling to pick our favourites!

I can’t seem to find the words to do Jen and Andy justice. I was originally against the idea of videography but Jen and Andy made it so easy for me. They listened to us and understood us. All my fears were unfounded with them. They were immensely helpful in the planning process, always happily answering our million questions and giving us great advice. Come wedding day, somehow we didn’t even notice them. Jen and Andy were unbelievably unobtrusive and somehow captured all the amazing shots and angles along the way still. At this point, we were already beyond happy. Then we saw the finished product...We cried as soon as we saw it, then watched it again, and again, and every day for the last couple of months. The amount of effort that had been put into our edits is absolutely phenomenal. The quality of their work is top tier; Jen and Andy are the real deal videographers, editors, and creatives, but it was the heart and vision that blew us away so much. The time they took to get to know and understand us was immediately evident. We lost count of the small details that were included, which even we would never have thought would be so special. Jen even hid a little Easter egg in there for us that we found and were absolutely blown away by. We are gobsmacked at the extra time and thought that has been put in. Getting videography made all the effort and expense we put in eternally worth it. We get to remember our day in the most dramatic and amazing way possible any time we want for the rest of our lives, and you just can’t put a price on that.
We’ll never be able to adequately thank Jen and Andy for what they have given us, it’s far too precious.

Highly recommend Roam Ahead Weddings! They did our wedding in November last year and Jen & Andy were nothing short of amazing!!!

As photography teacher myself, I was after a certain aesthetic and very picking about who I wanted as my videographer and photographer. The infusion of the drone footage, with the 'to die for' super 8 film and their overall infectious energy made our wedding videos better then I could imagine!

Also Jen was absolutely awesome to deal with, super quick on the reply, worked within my budget, always available for help and just made me feel like I was in good hands!

After having a stressful time trying to find a photo/video team we stumbled across Roam Ahead. They made the whole process a breeze from booking to the actual day and their communication was A++. On the day they made us all feel very relaxed and the quality of the photos and video that we received are next level amazing.
