Hiya! I'm Jen & my partner Andy are both photographers and filmmakers from little ol Newcastle in NSW Australia. We have been making our way over to the beautiful Aotearoa to settle our hunger to explore and take in nature. We have spent 3 months over here on and off over the past 12 months and wow what a journey it has been, where we have met some incredible people along the way. We have filmed and photographed a handful of weddings in both the north and the south island in that time, as well as working alongside some small businesses and helping them boost their work through imagery and videos.
We shoot many weddings amongst other things such as live music and events, promotional and training content for businesses, digitising old media and so on. And when we're not busy working, we're out camping or doing something outdoors with our dog or hanging out with friends and family.

What about pricing?
Super8 film is a way of recording video back in the 60s era! Despite the age of this media type, it's having a HUGE come back where filters to fake this look is massively trending all over social media. Why fake the super 8 look when we can actually film on it? Trust me, its different but a whole lot better than those filters faking it. If you wish to give super 8 a go - I guarantee you won't be disappointed! In fact, you will be so glad you gave it the chance and everyone is going to LOVEEEE it!
What makes this media type so special other than the look? Not many people can master this craft & it is quite expensive to buy this film, develop it and digitise it.
Buying one film reel + processing alone is about $100. The cameras themselves are hard to come by and range from $1k-$5K for working quality film cameras. Digitising can easily add up too.
In regards to your wedding - we cover those costs!
Your film reels will actually last for a very long time. Far longer than flash drives, dvds, vhs tapes, handycam tapes and probably even us and our life -time.
With this service, you will receive this footage incorporated into your highlight film + the added bonus of another edit specifically just of Super 8 footage + you get to keep the film reel/s too! Perfect for handing down as your family heirloom for your future generations.
One film reel (cartridge) records around 3 minutes, so we can use as many film reels as we can if you're keen? One massive positive with this also, is that we digitise and scan the film all in-house with our 4K (resolution) scanner. This is something we’re quite proud about and absolutely love (this is also our other business - digitising and archiving of historic and family films).

Do you cover Elopements or micro weddings?
Well, you’re going to receive double the amount of footage and shots, so why not? It’s a safer option if you’re wanting anything over 6hrs coverage as well, as the day is pretty non-stop for us. Having the two shooters, allow for a variety of different angles and perspectives, throughout the entire day.

Turnaround times vary depending on the time of the year and to what services are provided. A good estimate is 6-8 weeks.
We offer a rush fee for a faster turnaround time of 2-4 weeks. This means we will bring out the coffee, and edit throughout most days and nights to get this to you in this timeframe.

The final products will be handed over via an online digital link where you can download your files. Images will be on an elegant gallery where you can view, download and share with your friends and family. The videos will be the downloadable link.
