Working as a wedding planner for over a decade, I knew the one thing I would not compromise on was great photography and videography when it came to our wedding. I spent a long time hunting and reaching out to different providers and spreadsheeting different packages (like the true A-type I am). But something felt different when I stumbled across Roam Ahead. I remember running to tell Aaron “I think we found our people” and it hasn’t stopped feeling like that ever since.

Not only did Roam Ahead’s packages tick all our boxes, but we fell in love with Jen and Andy’s authenticity, approachability and their art - their work is the perfect mix of creative, fun and beautifully emotional. Jen has been an absolute dream to work with and cannot think of a better way to describe her service other than incredibly generous. She made us feel like I we were at the centre of their universe as we started planning our day, she spent hours perfecting our runsheet and even staged a stunning engagement shoot so we could get comfortable in front of the camera. Andy is a humble genius who is incredibly skilled and often found dual wielding high def cams and drones alongside old school cameras capturing super8 and 35mm film. Their use of old film was added bonus we couldn’t imagine doing without, bringing an element of nostalgic romance and utter joy!

We found out that Roam Ahead also had digitising service and I dropped in box of old video tapes that they beautifully restored. I can’t begin to tell you how special it was to watch long lost home videos of my family and late father who now feels a part of our wedding. Jen and Andy are both incredibly skilled at what they do and as the day went on they started to feel more like friends. Their clear instruction and calm nature truly brought out the most happy and relaxed versions of ourselves - and this showed, to our guest and in our final photos and videos.

The final products were like nothing we had ever seen. They have a way of capturing special moments that felt like they were only saved in our hearts. We honestly didn’t realise we would end up with so much and we’ve now had many family nights laughing, crying and struggling to pick our favourites!

I can’t put into words how incredible Jen and Andy are from Roam Ahead Weddings.
They went over and beyond for us.

Being in the wedding industry ourselves we had high expectations for the photography and videography for our wedding. To say they blew us away would be an understatement. Since receiving our wedding video, we have watched it 5-10 times a day. Crying and reliving the incredible moments that go so fast. Every detail that they captured is out of this WORLD. It really hits the heart and are memories that we can forever look back on.

We are forever grateful that they were part of our day and anyone who books them would not be disappointed. So kind, accomodating and so bloody TALENTED.

Although we can’t go back to our day, the photos and video allow us to feel like we can. Not to mention we received a sneak peak, fully edited and creative video 24hours after our day!!! So much dedication and perfection.
